My name is Aaron Johnson. I am a family man, a teacher, and a photographer. Currently, it goes in that order from most important to least, and with this blog it is my hope that I can reverse the last two and eventually just be a family man and photographer. Besides my wife and daughter, photography is increasingly becoming one of my most rewarding passions. As time has gone by, and as my skills increase and those impossibly-expensive camera materials are gathered, I hone my ability to capture images that make people go "Whoa!".
I'm deeply indebted with college and the US government, so unfortunately at this point in time my future is secured in teaching special education students! But, on the side, my camera and lens constantly nag at me from the safety of their bag, begging to be used to produce images that give that "whoa" factor. Would I do this full-time? It's unquestionable. Would I earn enough money to make a living from it? Well, that's what this web-site is all about.
I ask you to take a stroll through this photography blog. My appetite for photography is not limited to just people, but a great variety of subjects that I love, including animals, plants, landscapes, macro photography, and just about everything else in between. You will find that my pictures are not limited to just weddings, even though as of lately that seems to be all I've done this last year (with the exception of my daughter, who is probably one of the most non-professionally photographed 4 year old's in California!). I know what you're thinking! He's only done five weddings? I know there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of photographers out there, but rest assured I am one of the few that charges prices like mine for the amount of work, time, and effort I will put into any kind of pictures you need...and still produce images with such clarity and quality that you will wonder why I charge so little!
Like I said above, my family comes first. But that doesn't mean I can't pursue my passion! Please contact me if you have any questions at all. I'm a teacher, which means the obvious weekends, holidays and summer off, so if you need pictures than I would love to take them. I also have a facebook account, so if you would like to see even MORE pictures, please add me!
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you enjoy Aaron J Johnson Photography.
